About US

Our Poll Dorset Stud was started in 1987 to breed rams for ourselves, however it was quickly recognised that to breed the correct type of sheep for the growing lamb industry we needed a reasonable sized flock. We now run 450 ewes and use Artificial insemination every year so that we can access the best genetics possible.

BREEDING PROGRAM

Since the implementation of ASBVs we have concentrated on a balanced approach between genetic performance and visual traits and qualities. Our objective is to breed the best quality, commercially focussed type of sheep for

the Prime Lamb industry.
